Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about our process, pricing, and partnership approach.

We provide end-to-end digital solutions including brand strategy, UI/UX design, custom WordPress development with Oxygen 6, e-commerce builds, performance optimization, and ongoing maintenance. Every project is tailored to your specific goals and audience.

Timelines vary based on scope and complexity. A standard business website typically takes 4-8 weeks from kickoff to launch. E-commerce projects run 8-12 weeks. Enterprise-level builds with custom functionality can take 12-20 weeks. We provide a detailed timeline during our initial proposal.

We offer project-based pricing with clear milestones and deliverables. Every engagement starts with a discovery phase that produces a detailed scope of work and fixed-price proposal. No hourly billing, no surprise invoices. For ongoing work, we offer monthly retainer packages that cover maintenance, updates, and continuous improvements.

Absolutely. We offer three tiers of monthly support: Essential (security updates, backups, uptime monitoring), Growth (everything in Essential plus content updates and performance optimization), and Enterprise (dedicated support hours, priority response, and quarterly strategy reviews). All plans include 24/7 emergency support.

Start by reaching out through our contact form or scheduling a free 30-minute discovery call. We will discuss your goals, timeline, and budget to determine if we are a good fit. If we move forward, the next step is a paid discovery phase where we dive deep into your requirements and produce a comprehensive project plan.

Complete Guide to Modern Web Development

Planning Your Project

Every successful project begins with a clear plan. Before writing a single line of code or pushing a single pixel, you need to understand the problem you are solving, the audience you are serving, and the constraints you are working within. This section covers the essential groundwork that separates professional projects from amateur experiments.

Defining Requirements

Requirements gathering is both an art and a science. It involves stakeholder interviews, competitive analysis, user research, and technical feasibility assessments. The goal is to produce a document that everyone on the team can reference throughout the project lifecycle. Ambiguity at this stage compounds into costly rework later.

Choosing Your Technology Stack

Your technology stack should serve the project, not the other way around. Consider factors like team expertise, community support, long-term maintenance costs, and performance characteristics. A WordPress-based stack with Oxygen 6 provides an excellent balance of flexibility, performance, and client-friendliness for most business websites.

Design Principles

Good design is invisible. It guides users toward their goals without calling attention to itself. Great web design combines visual hierarchy, whitespace management, typography, and color theory into a cohesive system that feels natural and effortless to navigate.

Visual Hierarchy and Layout

Visual hierarchy determines what users see first, second, and third. Size, color, contrast, and positioning all contribute to establishing hierarchy. A well-structured layout uses grid systems and consistent spacing to create rhythm and predictability. OxyMade provides a complete utility class system for rapid layout construction.

Typography and Readability

Typography accounts for 90% of web design. Choose typefaces that reflect your brand personality while maintaining excellent readability across devices. Line height, letter spacing, and measure (line length) all affect how comfortable text is to read. Aim for 45-75 characters per line for body text and use fluid typography scales for responsive sizing.

Development Best Practices

Writing code that works is the minimum bar. Writing code that is readable, maintainable, and performant is the real challenge. This section covers the practices that separate production-grade code from throwaway prototypes.

Performance Optimization

Performance is a feature. Every 100ms of load time improvement increases conversion rates. Optimize images with modern formats like WebP and AVIF. Use lazy loading for below-the-fold content. Minimize render-blocking resources. Leverage browser caching and CDN distribution. Measure everything with Core Web Vitals.

Accessibility Standards

Accessibility is not optional. Build with semantic HTML, proper ARIA labels, keyboard navigation support, and sufficient color contrast from the start. Retrofitting accessibility is always more expensive than building it in. Test with screen readers and keyboard-only navigation regularly throughout development.

Launch and Beyond

Launching a website is not the finish line. It is the starting line. Post-launch activities like monitoring, analytics review, A/B testing, and iterative improvement are what separate websites that grow from websites that stagnate.

Monitoring and Analytics

Set up monitoring before launch, not after. Uptime monitoring, error tracking, and performance budgets should be in place from day one. Use analytics to understand user behavior, identify friction points, and prioritize improvements. Data without action is just noise.

Continuous Improvement

The best websites are never finished. Schedule regular reviews of analytics data, user feedback, and competitive landscape. Prioritize improvements by impact and effort. Small, frequent iterations beat large, infrequent redesigns. Keep your dependencies updated, your content fresh, and your performance metrics within budget.

Why This Exists

Every Oxygen 6 project starts the same way. Two days of setup before you touch anything the client actually cares about. Menus, scroll animations, lightbox, accordions, progress indicators. Same components, different client. I rebuilt the same overlay menu 11 times across 11 projects before I stopped and packaged it properly.

The Setup Tax

GSAP is incredible. Setting it up from scratch inside a WordPress build is a 3-hour distraction. ScrollTrigger, SplitText, CDN loading with local fallbacks, making sure nothing conflicts with the builder's own scripts. That's before you write a single animation.

The O6 Toolkit handles all of that. Drop a data attribute on any element, pick a preset, and it animates on scroll. Fifteen presets built in. Stagger, delay, duration, easing, scrub, split text. All configurable without writing JavaScript.

Not a Theme

Themes give you someone else's design. You spend half the project fighting it to match what the client actually wants. This is different. It's a toolkit: pre-built sections, interactive components, and the foundation you'd build yourself if you had 200 spare hours. Import the sections you need. Ignore the ones you don't. Override anything.

The OxyMade integration means you're not learning a new system. You're using the variables and utility classes you already know, with 11 interactive features wired up on top.

Who It's For (and Who It's Not)

If you're a freelancer or agency building client sites on Oxygen 6, this saves you weeks per project. If you already use OxyMade (or want to), you'll feel right at home. If you're tired of rebuilding the same scroll animations, overlay menus, and accordion components from scratch every single time, this is the thing that stops that.

If you're looking for a drag-and-drop magic solution, this isn't it. If you're on Elementor or Bricks, this won't work. If you want something that just looks pretty without understanding what's under it, save your money. This is a builder's tool for people who build.

Our Process

Scroll through our four-stage workflow that takes ideas from concept to scale.

01

Design

We start with deep research into your brand, audience, and competitive landscape. Wireframes and prototypes bring the vision to life before a single line of code is written. Every pixel serves a purpose.

02

Develop

Our engineers translate designs into performant, accessible code. We use modern frameworks and battle-tested patterns to build sites that are fast, secure, and maintainable for years to come.

03

Deploy

We handle everything from staging environments to production deployment. Automated testing, performance audits, and security checks ensure your site launches flawlessly and stays that way.

04

Scale

Growth is not an afterthought. We build with scalability in mind from day one. Analytics, A/B testing, and continuous optimization keep your digital presence ahead of the competition.
